Dirty Santa lottery tickets make the perfect gift! Thanks to the Arkansas Lottery for sponsoring this post.
Have you ever played Dirty Santa? If not, I’ll explain the basics in a moment. If you have, you know how much fun it can be. I’ve come up with clever and funny ways to surprise someone by hiding lottery tickets inside silly packages. Dirty Santa plus lottery tickets equals a gift that keeps on giving. Lottery tickets work for many price ranges, and I’ve included printable gift tags to match each idea.

I’m proud to be partnering with the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery and The Women Bloggers for three days of fun ways to use scratch-off tickets during the holidays. This is a sponsored post but all opinions are my own — I love these ideas!

Day 2… Dirty Santa + Lottery Tickets = The Perfect Gift
Finding the right gift for everyone can be tough, but in Dirty Santa it doesn’t really matter. The sillier the gift, the more fun. Imagine someone unwrapping a roll of toilet paper — hilarious — then discovering lottery tickets tucked inside.

An inexpensive roll of toilet paper can become a much better gift with a few scratch-offs hidden inside. Any lottery tickets work, but $2 Arkansas Scholarship Lottery scratch-offs labeled “Big Deal” are perfect for $2, $10, or $20 Dirty Santa exchanges. Tuck them into the roll so the gift looks like a gag at first, then turns into something more valuable.

You can use a half-used tissue box the same way. Attach lottery tickets end-to-end with painter’s tape, fold them accordion-style, and tuck them into the box. Add a pull tab so the recipient discovers one ticket after another. Use the printable tag that reads “Don’t Blow It All In One Place” for a laugh.

Another fun idea is to wrap a stack of $1 scratch-off tickets inside a ball of yarn. It takes a bit of time, but it’s easy to do while watching TV. Wrap the tickets tightly with yarn until they form a solid ball and top it with a gift tag. The recipient will enjoy unwrapping — and pulling — string after string to reveal the tickets.

For a show-stopping idea, make a lottery ticket wreath. Use at least twenty $1 tickets attached together with tape in a circular wreath shape, place it in a wreath box or container, and wrap it up. It looks decorative and hides multiple chances to win — a playful and unexpected gift for Dirty Santa.

This wreath idea can be adapted — wrap the tickets like a donut, use a garment box, or assemble them in any circular form that fits your wrapping. The goal is a funny exterior with a valuable surprise inside.

If you prefer the simplest approach, place matching scratch-offs in a small envelope — many retailers offer free envelopes during the holidays. That’s it: a straightforward gift that still delivers instant joy.

To make things easy, I created printable gift tags for each idea. They’re organized on two sheets and include individual tags as well as To:/From: tags so you can choose what best fits your gift.
