The holidays seem to fly by—wasn’t it just Halloween? With only a few weeks left in the year, I like to make a festive punch for guests. For Thanksgiving we served a traditional Puerto Rican coquito; for Christmas I’m sharing a refreshing orange and cranberry holiday punch. My family is large (seven kids), so I keep the punch non-alcoholic, though you can easily float in vodka or your preferred spirit for an adult version. Below are the simple steps to make this bright, crowd-pleasing holiday punch.

Orange & Cranberry Holiday Punch
Putting together a punch bowl is one of my favorite holiday tasks—almost as much fun as setting the table. This year I kept things simple: a smaller tree with lights, wooden beads, and pine cones to create a cozy, low-maintenance centerpiece. That leaves plenty of space for the punch bowl on the dinner table so everyone can help themselves while we eat. The punch’s vivid color provides a festive pop that complements the table décor.

I make this punch with Simply Orange®, a not-from-concentrate orange juice with a fresh-squeezed taste and no added water, sugar, or preservatives, along with fresh cranberries and a splash of Simply Lemonade®. I pick up supplies at Sam’s Club, which is convenient for stocking up on holiday entertaining essentials in one trip. Simply Beverages® are available in the refrigerated section and are a reliable choice when you want a simple, delicious juice base for drinks and recipes.

I also set out a second container of the orange and cranberry punch near snacks like Members Mark Roasted Cashew Halves with Sea Salt so guests can sip while they nibble.

What you’ll need:
2 cups Simply Orange®
1/4 cup Simply Lemonade®
2 cups apple cider
2 cups cranberry juice
1 navel orange, sliced
1 cup fresh cranberries
2 liters ginger ale
Instructions:
1. Combine Simply Orange®, Simply Lemonade®, apple cider, and cranberry juice in a large punch bowl.
2. Gently stir to mix.
3. Just before serving, add the ginger ale to preserve its fizz.
4. Float orange slices and fresh cranberries on top for a festive finish.

The punch tastes as delightful as it looks—bright, balanced, and perfect for family gatherings. It’s easy to scale up for larger groups, and the non-alcoholic base keeps it family-friendly. If you prefer an adult version, stir in vodka or rum to taste.
