To celebrate three years of blogging, I wanted to share a simple yet elegant cocktail: the Peach Sangria Bellini. I searched everywhere for Monin peach syrup and finally ordered it online when local stores came up empty. The result is a bright, fruity drink that’s perfect for warm evenings and special occasions.

I’ve taken a break from frequent posting, which gave me time to focus on a long-delayed project and recover from a recent cold. My husband is also recovering from major spine surgery, so life has been busy but hopeful. Meanwhile, I’ve been testing new recipes and taking a few classes—some work-related and some just for fun. I look forward to sharing more food and drink ideas here soon.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Monin Peach Syrup
  • 1 oz. Peach Schnapps
  • 1 cup Prosecco, chilled
  • ½ cup Sangria
  • Ice

Directions:

  1. Fill a pitcher or shaker with plenty of ice. Add the Monin peach syrup, peach schnapps, sangria, and chilled Prosecco. Stir gently until combined and chilled. Serve in chilled glasses over ice if desired.

Notes:

  • Adjust the proportions to taste—add more Prosecco for a lighter drink or more peach syrup for extra sweetness.
  • Use a fruity sangria that complements peach, or substitute with a rosé sangria for a lighter color and flavor.
  • Garnish with fresh peach slices or a sprig of mint for a pretty presentation.
